Carbon emissions. Mass timber construction. Sustainability. Energy efficiency. There’s a lot of chatter around these and many other topics in our industry. What’s more there is a lot of misinformation being shared by our competition.

That’s why VRMCA has identified taking our member communications to the next level as a key initiative for 2020 and beyond. Consistency of message is incredibly valuable. And making sure that you have accurate, up-to-date and verifiable information to share with your partners is the goal.

There are a number of ways we can get this information to you: emails, newsletters and presentations at our conventions to name a few. But let’s face it. Everyone is strapped for time. Emails pile up in your inbox. Newsletters go unread. Live meetings may be pre-empted by project challenges. So, we’ve decided to try something new: Webinars.

Why Webinars? Well they are a great way for us to get information to a broad audience without the need for travel. You can log in from essentially anywhere and participate. Plus, if you register and can’t attend, we will still share the information with you since each presentation will be recorded. You’ll have the ability to view it on your own time and even share with colleagues.

We’ve finalized out first Webinar which is focused on how to talk about the NRMCA Concrete Design Center with your partners. The inaugural presentation is scheduled for Thursday, April 9th at 12:00pm.
