VRMCA’s Best of the Best Class: Session Three

The Virginia Ready Mixed Concrete Association’s 2018 Best of the Best Class gathered in Charlottesville, VA for Session 3 on Thursday, August 16th and Friday, August 17th.

Session 3 focused on Team Leadership and was led by John Whitlow of JHW Consulting. Later in the day on Friday, the group was broken into two separate teams and given their case studies which they will present at the VRMCA 2018 Fall Convention in Virginia Beach, VA. The team of Rob Kraker, Matthew Swope and Tony Thomas will be presenting “Strategies for Recruiting & Retaining Mixer Truck Drivers”. Mac McWane, Daniel Peabody and Anthony Washington will be working together and presenting their ideas on “Improving the Public Perception of Concrete Through Education & Marketing”. We hope you’ll join us in Virginia Beach to support all the participants as they complete the program!
