The floors have been placed. The walls are up. Things are starting to take shape at the new Slavic Christian Church in Rockingham, VA. Quick progress thanks in part to insulated concrete forms (ICFs).

What began as a simple rectangular facility has morphed into what is sure to be a stunning building. The Slavic Christian Church will have a more modern feel to it. It will feature glass entryways, heated floors, plenty of space for meetings – including a separate area for youth groups – and enough space to welcome their ever-growing membership.

The final project will encompass 18,000 square feet and feature floor-to-ceiling insulated concrete form walls. VRMCA-member Superior Concrete, Inc. supplied 623 cubic yards of ready mixed concrete for the project to date; 375 cubic yards for the floors/foundation and another 248 cubic yards for the walls.

Construction continues with a target completion date late in 2020.
