Spring 2007 Convention Recap by Amanda Snyder, Communications Coordinator
The VRMCA Spring Convention was held May 20-22 at The Homestead in Hot Springs, Virginia. Roughly
180 guests attended the event. Speakers covered such topics as increasing sales, succession planning,
the 2007 economic outlook and VDOT End Result specifications. Attendees also enjoyed a free afternoon
with the opportunity to participate in the golf tournament, shooting sporting clays, or just lounging
about and enjoying the plush Homestead accommodations. The VRMCA Reception was well-attended, and the
crowd enjoyed cocktails and crab cakes while listening as the winners of the golf tournament were
revealed.
The VRMCA thanks all speakers and attendees who made the convention such a success. We look forward to
seeing everyone again at the Fall Convention, Sept. 9-11, 2007.
