The Virginia Ready-Mixed Concrete Association was formed in 1949 to further technology in the industry and to provide government relations for ready-mixed producers. In 1987, the Association formed the Virginia Ready-Mixed Advisory Council to provide information to the public about the numerous applications of ready-mixed concrete.
